About the project

We developed a CRM system for the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, aimed at supporting Ukrainian veterans and efficiently processing their applications through electronic documents. The system provides a convenient and secure process for veterans to submit their documents via an online form. Users can fill out various fields, sign documents using an Electronic Digital Signature (EDS), and send them for processing.

Key Functional Features:

1. Document Submission Form:

   • Users fill in required fields on the web form, including personal information and details related to their veteran status.
   • Support for Electronic Digital Signature (EDS) to verify the authenticity of the documents.

2. Admin Panel for Managing Applications:

   • Administrators can review and manage submitted applications, evaluating their status and compliance with requirements.
   • Status categorization of applications: "Rejected," "Accepted," "Under Review."
   • Ability to make necessary adjustments or comments on submitted documents.

3. Statistics and Analytics:

   • Integration with databases to display core statistics: region, application status, number of documents submitted, etc.
   • Generation of reports and analytics for process monitoring and application handling efficiency.

4. CRM for Communication with Users:

   • Automatic notifications to users regarding changes in the status of their applications.
   • Direct communication between the admin and the user via CRM for clarifications or consultations.

5. Security and Compliance:

   • All documents are processed and stored according to high security standards.
   • Use of secure channels for data transmission and integration with electronic digital signatures to ensure the legal validity of documents.

Technologies Used:

• CRM System: Developed using popular frameworks and custom solutions.
• Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (React).
• Backend: Ruby on Rails.
• Security: HTTPS, AES encryption, integration with electronic signatures (EDS).
• Database: PostgreSQL for data storage.
• API Integration: Integration with external services for document verification and signature processing.

Outcome: As a result of the development, a user-friendly and efficient CRM system was created, allowing administrators to quickly process documents, maintain communication with veterans, and collect important statistics for performance analysis. Users, in turn, can easily submit their documents and track the status of their applications in real-time.

This project became an important step in ensuring high quality and fast processing of veterans' applications, improving the efficiency of the administrative process.
